Bio

Adrianna is a Horticulture and Agronomy Master’s student researching strawberry protoplast regeneration and the formation of a transgene-free genome-editing platform within strawberry. She is co-advised by Dr. Juan Debernardi at the Ralph M. Parsons Plant Transformation Facility.

Adrianna earned her B.S. from the University of California, Davis in Plant Biology. Her primary undergraduate research focused on the adaptation of native California jewelflowers to increasing surface temperatures and decreasing rainfall. She has also worked in a variety of crops, including tomato, bean, walnut, and pistachio.

In her free time, Adrianna enjoys playing video games and watching horror movies through her hands.
