Annie Willet

Annie is currently a Horticulture and Agronomy Master's student with the UC Davis Strawberry Research Group. Her current Master's research focuses on fine mapping resistance loci against the root disease Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. fragariae. Annie earned her B.S. from UC Davis in Plant Sciences with a specialization in Genetics, Genomics, and Plant Breeding. Her undergraduate honors thesis evaluated post-harvest quality traits and shelf-life of ripening-inhibited tomatoes. She has also worked in organic breeding projects for zinnia, tomato, spinach, stem lettuce, and wheat.
